We had a couple of hours of waiting time till our train would leave so we decided to sit in the little park in the shade. After a while we learned that the inside of the historical building houses different FREE art exhibitions which we promptly visited. The staff there was very nice and helpful, the guards outside are also very nice and helpful even given the language barrier. The cafe is very reasonably priced and toilets in the basement are free and clean as well which is a very nice touch. On a saturday noon it was also barely visited which was very surprising given how pretty the building and park are and the location. If you want to get away from the crowds or like us have some time to kill and dont feel like wandering far from the train station definitely pay this a visit!
On a balmy early Summer afternoon if you want to keep away from the crowded tourist hotspots and surround yourself with classical Italian beauty, hang in the garden of this place and treat yourself to a coffee in the reasonably priced cafeteria.
Exhibitions are amazing in this historical place. You have to visit :)
Very nice and historical place, specially the staff and the security guy was very informative, despite of language barrier he told me whole history through google translator. Very welcoming Italian people.
I met artist there since there was an exhibition going on. 🌺🌺🌺 …
Nice little park, but for a reason I couldn’t explain there is 3 security staff whole whole job appears to be blowing whistles at anyone who dares sit on the grass, which rather kills the vibe
We had a nice and good time. We were resting there also had lunch in the outside tables of the Cafeteria (consuming something of course). There is a man taking care of the rubbish so everything is very clean (something unusual comparing it to the nearest parks).
Impressive place!…antique, elegant, aristocratic
A bit of contemporary art experience with music and video installation.
